I would love to play a set of strings in a 035, 055, 075, 095 configuration but haven't been able to find such a combo. Is there a source for nickel roundwounds where you can "build your own" set individually?

If you can get some individually, you can select some strings from the ultra light guages and some from heavier guages, for example. I'd check online sites. I've been happy with every nickelwound string I've used to date, however. Wayne over at webstrings (nice guy) has accommodated my request to mix up the gauges to get me the 35, 55, 75, 95 combo I want. I'm satisfied with their strings, but nice to know that a second source is available. Does anyone have experience with the strings justrings.com markets? |
