What do you guys think of him as a Bass player overall? I feel he is a very good musician as well as a bass player,hes also written alot of great songs. i ask this question because i've had people tell me they've either never heard of him or that he sucks. which kinda caught me off guard. well anyways let me know what you guys think of him thanks

I think he's not that bright . . . kinda like that guy that posts in the wrong forum . . . ;)

Martin Page first gained recognition as a songwriter. With lyricist Bernie Taupin, whose usual partner was Elton John, as well as Dennis Lambert and Peter Wolf, Page wrote "We Built This City," a number one hit for Starship in 1985.

His writing ability far outways his playing IMHO.
