His name is Jean Baudin, and he plays in a band called "Nuclear Rabbit." Thought you might have some info on the guy cause you both have custom conklins. Any idea how his bass is tuned, what his playing is like, etc? I'm anxious to hear them.

yeah, i've talked to jean a few times over the past year. he's getting another 9 string from bill, a fanned fret mode. with some pac-man inlays. sounds really cool.

i'm not sure how jean tunes, i'm pretty sure the lowest string is a low F# like my 8's, he probably tunes F#-B-E-A-D-G-C-F-Bb. that's the way bill dickens tuned his 9.

i gotta get engaged first :eek: actually, that was going to be a wedding gift. so i got to get all the way hitched for that one. still, though, hopefully not too far away.

oh, and it was going to be a white hollow 7 fretless.
