I typed this up all ready and lost it (stupid school computers)

Anyway, I've tried contacting Rickenbacker for a neck so I can recreate my brothers 1984, 4001 bass. I wanna do the neck-through construction for authenticity, and I cant find neck sales like that anywhere

Carvin will sell you a neck-through blank with a blank headstock.

i went to that site, did a search and everything, and all the necks have premade headstocks....

anywhere else? i mean i could use that, but i want it to look authentic

they dont seel neck through blanks, or blank headstock neck-throughs

If you would have looked more closely at the bottom of the page, you would see that unshaped headstocks are available at no charge for a 4 string and a $30 option on a 5 string.

From the website:

"For blank (rectangular) oversized unshaped and undrilled headstocks, select the option below (that will add a K after the model number)."
