That's the deal:
I gave up selling my Essex BG80 and my Fender '62 jazz pickup, and I am planning to make it a PJ.
Which wiring configuration do you think will be the coolest? I am planning to keep the 3 holes on the pickguard, one for the jack and the others to be used by the pots/switches.
So I have two holes to go nuts :D. That's some ideas I've been thinking:
1-
pos1: blend
pos2: tone
2-
pos1: Pickup selector (a la Les Paul)
pos2: tone + on-off
3-
pos1: blend
pos2: tone + series-parallel
4-
pos1: blend
pos2: Ptone + Jtone stacked
5-
pos1: Pvol + Ptone stacked
pos2: Jvol + Jtone stacked
('62 Jazz Wiring)
6-
pos1: blend
pos2: Ptone + Jtone stacked
I'm not too worried about volume, I use to have it always maxed out.
Any other configutration that worth trying??? :bassist:
