Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about having a custom bass built and am a little in the dark about different finishing materials and the pros/cons. Primarily I'm curious about not using a heavy lacquer finish and going the route of Warwick with an oil or oil/wax finish.

The basses that got me thinking are www.beebasses.com. They use an oil finish. I tried a couple of their basses and it was different but nice.
