how do you hammer the string, im not sure how you do it, whats the technique?
please help

Let's say you want to play a F on the D string 3rd fret and hammer on a G at the 5th fret. Fret the 3rd fret with index finger, pluck the note, while its still ringing slam down your ring finger at the 5th fret.
