Who plays bass in Kenny Chesney's band and what bass does he play?

Awesome is all I can say of this bassist after listening to several of their songs.

Dunno what bass they play, but the album credits list the guys on bass for "No Shoes No Shirt, No Problem" as Larry Paxton, Michael Rhodes and Steve Marshall. I believe Steve Marshall is the main guy as some of the albums have only him listed.

We opened for them a couple years ago; I didn't really pay attention...sorry.

Sounded like a stingray to me. Just had to ask. I do believe the guy is a bassist that stays in the background all that is possible. He is good in my opinion. I really enjoy his lines.

I agree about the bass lines on a lot of his songs. It IMO suits the song very well. Its not overly complex, nor is it too simple a line. I also love the guys tone.
