Active pickup slots need to be screened to prevent electromagnetic interferences (expecially for very hot-wired active systems).
What do you consither the best way to do this:

- copper-shilded slots with tin-plated junctions

- matt-painted slots with the "special high-shilding-degree (black) paint"

- both: copper and paint

- other ways?

P.S.
Do you know the name of this "paint" ?

www.stewmac.com has this copper shielding paint. It is also the same stuff they use in those little lines on the back window of cars. Pretty sweet stuff. That works very well, but so does the carbon black paint. Shielding tape is a lot less messy, though. They all work well, though the tape has worked best for me.
