Last week I stopped by a local music shop to try out bows (my bow, which dates back to when I was a snot-nosed grade school kid, is, in the opinion of my teacher and myself, in need of replacement). After trying out about half a dozen bows in the $500-1000 range, I found that the two that I liked best were stamped Werner Hubl and Jan Dvorak. Anyone know anything more about these two makers? More idle curiosity than anything else as the only thing that truly matters is how the bow will sound on my bass.
