This is what my band will be playing at our first show, along with a bunch of originals:

Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire
The Eagles - Hotel California
The Beatles - I Wanna Hold Your Hand
Not Sure - Monster Mash
The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
J Geils Band - Angel is the Centerfold
Nirvana (a cover by them) - Mollys Lips
Black Flag - Wasted
The Monkees - Daydream Believer
Pearl Jam - Last Kiss

I believe that is it. What do you think of it? I mean give it a good reivew. Thanks!

By the way, the FREE show is at the Toys R Us on South Third Street in Philadelphia (or just South Street.. hmm.. hold on a few days, ill let you know the exact location), Saturday, July 3rd. We will be playing from 12 to 2. If you're in the area please stop by and check us out! Let me know if you will stop by.

Oh yeah, we play mostly ska, reggae, punk, and some Sonic Youth type stuff. Our lyrics are hilarious and some people just laugh hearing them, while others think they are funny but appreciate our talent as well. Or both. :D

Once again I'll let you know a definent location in a day or two.

PS: Review the Setlist! This isn't just a blatant attempt to get people to come to the show!

Thats a severely eclectic set list dude. I don't know how people would react to that.

:D I'll take that as a compliment. Should I?

Both of you I mean.

it depends.. There's tons of variety in the set, which can be good. but there's also NO continuity. The audience might not want to hear Black Flag and the Monkees back to back, or in the same set for that matter.

Oh.. Its not in order. We have to work that out. We will keep that in mind when making the order, but I'm sure it will remain eclectic. Oh well, the show is too soon to change it. At least its fun. :)

That's what I'm trying to say.

I get what you're saying. Thanks. I think it will work since this is a free show, and we don't know what kind of audience we will have. Our original stuff is all pretty much ska or reggae with some punk thrown into some of the ska songs, so that should make it more interesting (or eclectic).

No offense but that setlist looks like one of my compilation CD's.

For example...

Conquistador - Procol Harum
Concerto for trombone and orchestra - Rimsky Korsakov
No Shelter - Rage against the machine
Wipeout - Pennywise
The 4 seasons - Vivaldi
Farmhouse - Phish
No one knows - Queens of the Stoneage
Blue Trombone - JJ Johnson
Criminal - Fiona Apple
Innocent Man - Billy Joel
etc....

See what I mean?

I can tell you how people react to my cd's......

THEY'RE FREAKING SCARED. You have to pick a genre if you ever want to grow.

Our original stuff is all one genre. Reggae/ska, whatever.

Sonic Youth-The Diamond Sea.

I just play it with a drummer for about an hour.
