I was wondering if y'all ever heard of Bill Dickens.
He is insane on the 7 string and 9 string bass!!

Bill Dickens, hes one of the fastest slappers ive every heard:eek: , but its so fast that its annoying to listen to:scowl: . playing fast is great, but i like his slower melodic jazzy stuff he plays:bassist: .

I have a conklin gt-7 and I plan to get the bill dickens sig bass.

Michael I believe one of your student have a Conklin GTBD-7.

Bill’s a great guy and a mighty fine bassist. He was nice enough to come to one of my clinics in Chicago quite a few years ago and since then I’ve run into him many times at NAMM shows and such. We’ve played together a bit, too and it’s always a pleasure.

I’ve had a few students who have come by with lots o’ strings. I do my best to help them achieve their goals!
