Ok

it's a little story:

i'm at UNi
they need a camera group ( two violin, one cello, one contrabass, etc)
i'm the bassman

but

the bass isn't that good

it has 2 strings that are completely ****ed up
i suposse they are too old and become on that way
they looks really bad... tuned right and stuff, they are twisted.... like a zig zag

on pizicatto they just sound
on bow...... ..ack!

nobody seems to get any intention on buy new strings..... so, how can i deal with the old ones? ...is there any thing that i can do to fix them?.... as i've said, they looks twisted... that's the problem

Ok, A few things first-1. Where is UNi? Could you fill out your profile?
2. Bad choice for a thread title. Avoid expletives. I can understand if English is your second or third language, but it puts your credibility in doubt.
3. Face it, the strings are long gone. If it is your Bass, they should have been replaced long ago. If it is the Schools, buy new strings and give them the Bill. :)
