Mr. Manring, I notice that you do alot of tapping on fretless (La Sagrada Familia, The Book of Living and Dying), and your intonation is pretty fantastic. I've been practicing on fretless alot lately, and I'm wondering what's your practice methodology for tapping on fretless. It seems to me that with tapping on a fretless instrument requires one to be dead on as soon as the note is hit - no gliding around to cover mistakes. What's the story here?
