You know, at first quick glance, it really did look like an old viol bow, but I think this is an example of what happens when you leave the hair tight for 20 years. :)

I agree with Reedo. Which isn't to say that there aren't bows that are intentionally shaped like that. During a trip to Venice, I came across one of Dragonetti's bows; it could have launched arrows.
