:hyper: Can any one help me locate a teacher for bass?. I'm in Staten Island NY and can travel to Brooklyn or New Jersey if its close enough.

Click "Members list" then use the search function and go advanced. Scroll down to where it says "Available for instruction" and Select New York. It will list everyone in NY on talkbass forums who is a teacher.

I tried that for Massachusetts and Rhode Island to see what would come up and most of the entries are for peole under 18 by their listed birthdates. I don't mean to say that a "kid" can't be a good teacher, but it seems kind of odd to me that there aren't more established adult pros listed.
