Are there any good software programs out there that have cool/good rock-style accompaniment to jam along to?
Everything I have found is techno/dance stuff.
p.s.
I don't want midi tracks or Band in a Box.

Google up "hotstepper". It's got a bunch of samples you can use to create a bunch of 4 bar lines.

Try fruity loops? You can make your own kit and voice it how you want, then just make the drum track. Takes some time, but once you get used to it you can have a drum track down in no time.

Hammerhead Rhythm Station is pretty nice for making your own beats. It's still free to my reccolection. Very easy to use.

Not the best sounding program ever, but at 1.47mb it's definitely worth a look. :bassist:

if you know how to use it, you can program drum tracks using MIDI into cubase, which is good cause you can program pretty much anything into it, but more complicated drum stuff may take long to program.
