Okay, now I'm confused. I was looking for a standard P-bass wiring diagram, and I found some where they use 500K pots, and others where they use 250K. Also, some of them use a .047 capacitor, while others use a .022.

So, what are the best pots and capacitor for a very down to earth, good ol' meat-and-potatoes P-bass knock-off?

Also, where the heck should the ground wire from the bridge be soldered to?

You guessed it, I don't know squat about electronics.

The most common I've seen is 250K and .047, as you'll find here:

Ground (or drain) wire from the bridge goes to "system ground" - typically, the back shell of one of the pots is fine.
