Friends of the bottom end,

I was wondering if anyone could assist me in helping with common progressions.

I'm trying, with some progress, to learn to transcribe. But, I'm only familiar with 1 or 2 chord progressions. I think with a better knowledge of what I think is playing will help me learn to transcribe better.

So, with that said, I think I have a handle on blues progressions. Say the I, IV, and V7. Also, the VIII (oct), IV, and V7. I think I can pick out the I, IV, II, and V7. And the bluesey blues im7, ivm7, and V7.

My question is though, what are some more common progressions? Any thoughts would be very cool. Doesn't matter.

Thanks for the outlet btw, and for the responses.

And...keep it low. :)

Bascially though the more you transcribe the more familiar you will get with prog. real good for the ears
