Wondering if anyone has tried this preamp with a double bass?

I've only used one with slab. All comments are based on BG obviously.
Compressor was decent, but the sonic maximizer wasn't overly useful. Didn't care for the EQ controls at all. I'm not a big fan of the old fender style cut only mids and the almost boost only bass/treble. I think a flat setting was something like bass - 08:30 mid - 05:30 and treble 08:30. Having basically boost only on bass might wind up being problematic. Was fairly clean sounding and very responsive. No tube'esque lag.
