Roscoe SKB-3006 in absolute dead mint/brand new condition with the following specs:
*Ash Body
*Exhibition Grade Quilted Maple top
*Birdseye Maple board
*Demeter Pre
$1900 shipped is what I'm looking for, but I may consider trades, so let me know what you have. As always, I'd include cash for the right bass.

Halftooth, why you selling your Roscoe's? Just curious. This particular 6er is beautiful. The only thing I'd change on mine is the string spacing at the bridge.

Well, to tell you the truth, the 6 string experiment didn't go as I had hoped. I tried to like it and make it work, but I really don't think I need the C string like I had envisioned. If it doesn't sell, I'm not worried because It will give me more time to adjust to it and decide to keep it. It's one of my favorite Roscoes that I've owned in terms of tone. The only reason that I'm selling either of the two Roscoes is to free up cash for some fence repair work in my backyard and my new/used 4Runner I just purchased.

Yeah, I have a feeling that the swamp ash/maple combo is great with this bass.

I've owned 10 Roscoes or so over the last 4 years, and I can say that the best all-around sound is without a doubt, Ash/Birdseye FB/Demeter pre. That's the formula for Roscoe perfection. For a while, I thought the Demeter was the secret, but I think it's more than that. The Ash and Birdseye FB really open the bass up.

I myself own a ash/exhib. quilted maple/birdseye fb Roscoe LG and this is a killer combo for a killing tone ! only difference is my Bart. preamp.

Judging by the post above yours that says "SOLD", I would say not.
