Man, what a fantastic album, Bill's rendition of Jaco's "Punk Jazz" ought to put the naysayers to rest. The CD features Greg Howe on g****rs. Bill does a lot more fretless on this CD, the albums called "Change of Heart" :bassist:

I'm going to look for that. Recordings is starting to put as big a hole in my pocket as the basses section of TB! :help:

Where'd you find it? It's not even listed on Dennis Chambers' site.

Man I got a burned one. A drummer friend of mine returned from NY with one. He's a good friend of Bill's so it may not be out just yet. I'll post some more info as soon as I get it. The one I have has eight tracks on it.

Dennis just put out an album called 'Planet Earth', a kind of bland 'bad fusion' album IMO.Lo End, you sure this 'Change of Heart' is a legit release?

I was with Bill(Dickens)earlier tonight and he informed me that he is not the Bassist(and did not record at all)on the Dennis Chambers CD,this is what he himself told me.

Is there any relation between this mysterious "Change of Heart" and the "Gentle Hearts" tour DVD with Chambers & Howe, which has Tetsuo Sakurai on bass?

EDIT: grammar

Yup, I think that's where the dog is buried :
http://www.tetsuosakurai.com/english/discography/solo.html#ght04 Notice Punk Jazz is #4 on this cd.
So no Bill Dickens, eh...must be a case of 'drummer confusion' ;)

What???? That is indeed the CD that I have  junerig Please excuse the misinformation, It was delivered that way. JAUCO III-X, hows it goin? Is it true Bill's not with Conklin anymore? Just a little rumor I heard.

Tetsuo Sakurai is the Bassist on the recording in question and it's his solo recording not DC's and Bill is still playing his Conklins.

Awww crap, NEVER trust a burn ;) Well, Tetsuo is a excellent bassist!! Is that him on Akira Jimbos DVD?. Reason I asked about Bills deal with conklin is that someone said the BD signature basses were being discontinued by Conklin, just wondering if Bill went elswhere.

Conklin has discontinued the whole Groove Tools line, so since Bill's sig. bass is a GT, so will go the way of the dodo as well.
