David Wilson 10-17-2005, 06:45 PM you don't have your profile filled out, so I dont' know what country you're in and therefore what brands are available where you are. 4Mal 10-17-2005, 07:45 PM Aero Type 1's are very, very good. The Bill Lawrence P46/J45 setup is not exactly vintage but they are bar none the best balanced PJ set that I've found. Also the quietest passive pickups I've found. Very clear almost transparent, punchy. I suspect that with the approproiiate cap and pot values they would do vintage well, but with real advantages. I yanked my set in favor of the Aero's though. I have them in a Reverend Rumblefish and they just do it for me.
