Okay, back in 1984, I received a bass guitar as a gift. I have never had specs on this guitar. It is a Washburn B5 bass with an X-style body. I need to be-build this guitar as it has been beat up over the years. The sound on this thing is unbelievable and I want to continue using it in the studio and on stage. However, no one, not even Washburn, has the specs on this thing. Any help would be appreciated

Well it sounds like you identified it already (sorry, couldn't help myself). What specs are you needing? What do you mean by rebuilding the guitar? As far as redoing the neck, any competant local luthier can do a fret/nut job on it just by seeing the guitar. If the electronics are shot, I'd suggest just buying new, or atleast resoldering all the wires. As far as getting it setup (action, relief, intonation, etc) those specs aren't guitar specific, more player specific.
