As you probably know TalkBass was offline from Sunday to Monday morning Dec 11-12. Everything is now fixed. Please accept my apologies for not responding to every "your site is down" email - I got over 300 of them and it would take me a week! :)

As an ex-IT director, when I saw a screen, and when it didn't come back up within a couple of hours, I knew it had to be hardware! Unfortunately, it is not unusual to have hardware failure of some sort on a server after an outage like that. And I agree with you, the inadequate power management is totally unacceptable!
