Beautiful, fully carved instrument, spruce/maple/ebony. Roundback, 41 1/2" string length, friction sleeve endpin. Very warm, round, even tone in all reigisters both pizz and arco.
Kolstein Heritage strings
Excellent condition

This bass has all the earmarks of a Juzak,(SP?), Including, shape, size, projection and distinctive purfuling on back. Barrie Kolstein thinks it most probably is and complemented it's extraordinary sound but there is no label. So it is safest to say it is a Mittenwald. The only thing unJuzek about it is the beautiful amber varnish, Juzak, to my knowledge, used dark brown.

$8500.00

I have a non-Juzek Mittenwald bass (label says Handarbeiten aus Mittenwald), it has a warm, projecting voice. This bass would be well worth checking out.
