I just finished my short scale Jagbass.
Body is alder, neck is maple/rosewood. Tuners are Wilkinson semi-open, bridge is Hipshot Vintage. Pups are DiMarzio Ultrajazz and P. Both have own volume. Finish is nitro on body and headstock, oil/wax on neck.

Nice but i wonder how does it sound. It might just be me but i think the pickups looks a little close if not too close.

i very much like the pickguard shape. Also Did you buy that neck? If so, where did you get a hand of it... rondo?? How much, is it worth the dough??

I made the neck as well as the body myself. As for sound I haven't tried it yet enough to be able to comment.
