hey there fellow bassists! ive been playing in a band for a few months but i wanna try learn how to do some slapping and popping for some solo play...does any one have any reccomendations as to fairly easy but good slap n pop based songs that i could attempt? thanks

Love Rollercoaster, as done by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'd hold off on learning the end of the song, though, because Flea does this really intricate slap/pop solo at the end, which is crazy cool,but the rest of the song is doable. The same goes with Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers-easy song to learn.
