I'm looking for some songs that are relatively simple for all instruments except bass, things I can teach others within ten minutes while still having a bassline difficult enough to save us from 3 chord doldrums. I'm a big fan of jamming off higher ground by the chili peppers, and I know quite a few primus songs. I'm trying to find stuff in the neighborhood of yyz by rush, only with simpler patterns so others can play along without much learning time. Basically stuff that is based on one or two riffs, the bass riff being creative, with room for me to improvise within those boundaries.
