I can't seem to get my L2500's action as low as I want and still be able to intonate it properly. I run out of adjustment room on the saddle screws. I'm using DR High Beams ML guage with a 130 B. Anybody else having this issue? How did you remedy it?

G&L uses intonation screws that are staggered in length - the lower the string, the shorter the screw. Most of the time when you properly intonate a bass, the lowest string is furthest back, the highest is furthest forward and the others are in between. DRs tend to intonate funny and rarely conform to this "rule." I've also occasionally seen a G&L just just didn't intonate "normally." What you have to do is get a whole mess of intonation screws from G&L and mess with the different lengths until you get it right. If you bought this bass new and contact them, they will just send you a bunch of them. I would highly recommend trying different strings first. My ASAT bass just does not intonate right with DRs (though my other G&L's are fine with them) but it intonates perfectly with most other brands.
