I saw a clip of Dr. John in the early 70s, with horns, drums, and upright bass. Anybody know who played with him during this time? White fella, balding, late 40s. :smug: (that really narrows it down)

Jimmy Calhoun? He was playing with Dr. John in the early 70's.

I have no idea who played for Dr John, but I have so many memories of my old man drinking O.V. (extinct Canadian beer) and singing along very out of tune. Dr J rules!!
