Not helping the GAS issue though. Gard 06-29-2006, 02:13 PM OK, so, how do they go from blocks to blanks??? Like this - Here's Sanders squaring up and leveling a block: Gard 06-29-2006, 02:15 PM Here's the ubiqutious Sanders, starting to cut a neck blank out of the wenge wedge block: Gard 06-29-2006, 02:16 PM And once more, Sanders cutting a blank from a block, different angle, and these are standard necks: Gard 06-29-2006, 02:17 PM One each wedge blanks, and then the blocks they came from. Gard 06-29-2006, 02:20 PM Here are three "standard" blocks, with pencil lines to deliniate where the blanks will be cut. As you can see, these can be cut with the headstocks at either end, allowing a greater yield from each block, while the wedge necks all must be cut with the headstocks at the same end of the block. Joel B 07-19-2006, 01:46 PM Gard, that is so cool.
