Hi, I am the current bassist for the band "the underground" at www.theundergroundband.com
We practice 2-3 times a week in Tukwila which is about 5 miles south of downtown Seattle.
We have some songs up. I am playing on all the songs that say (live 2006) beside them. There are a few studio cuts at the bottom that were recorded before I joined the band a year and a half ago.
I love the band and their music, but I am moving back east sometime right before thanksgiving because the VA is going to pay all costs for my private schooling. ( YAY ;) ) I told the band my timeline when i joined and now i am here to help them find someone new.
Above all, listen to the cuts on the site, and then if you like feel free to ask questions. FYI, the live recordings were done live at an actual practice about a month ago, so that is what we sound like live.
We can arrange to meet at a practice. I most likely will play most practice sessions or split them with the new bassist until they comes up to speed, but I am very flexible and the band knows that. As far as I am concerned they have final say, and I told them I would do whatever to accomodate them and the new bassist. If the new one is good enough I would stop playing next week, or I would play up until the week before I move, or somewhere in between. It's up to the band.
Thanks, Joe
