first off, your lounge has been great! learning tons, and already applying much of it, i.e. "touring".

was wondering how you struck up your endorsement deals? did they approach you? did you approach them? how's it work?

my main endorsement with FBA (fender bass amplification) came about at the Bass Player Live event in NYC a couple of years ago. They had a booth at the trade show part of the event, and I plugged in and checked out the gear. One of the main reps there came over, we started talking, and about 30mins later I was signed to them. Of course it doesn't always happen like that, and lots of companies aren't willing to give you free gear at all, nomatter who you are.

But that's how that particular deal came about with me. It's different for everyone though.
