Hi, my friend who is a cabinetmaker told me that polyurethane cannot be buffed to a high gloss. Is this true?

Is this true? mahrous 07-20-2006, 03:59 PM incorrect. my two latests (title of thread) were finished with high gloss polyurethane varnish then buffed with polishing compound. the result = high gloss and mirror like surface. many companies make polyurthane varnishes in matt, 25% gloss, 50% gloss, glossy and high glossy grades. He likely never uses high solids, high gloss finishes in his business. |
