the fender is on the right my gold sx jazz is on the left. It doesnt look right so far. I think he should adjust his saddles but anything you can say that might help would be appreciated. (there is a reflection of a webcam on the bridge of the fender bridge just incase your wondering)

Looks to me like some of the saddles are upside-down. He should rotate them until they all line up straight and even (obviously they'll be set at different lengths for intonation, but you get the idea). None of those black screws that hold the saddles to to bridge should be at an angle like that. After that, take out the height adjustment screws and put them in so the hex-key socket is on the top and accessible while it's strung up. That should set the saddles up properly.

it looks like the saddles are bakcwards. they all need to be flipped the other way, and then hell probably have to set the intonation, and the string height again.

Saddles appear to be backwards. Take em off and turn them around. The adjustment screws should be on the outsides of the strings.

hey jiro, your probolem is in theseating of the saddles. the strings on your friends bridge are run through the saddle holes and the saddles are screwed through the string holes. on fender and fender styled bridges the strings should be strung through the bottom row of holes and the saddles through the top holes. o'o''o'o this is a sort of diagram of how it should look. the o's represent the string holes and the ' represents a saddle hole. hope this helps!

Absolutely!
Here's a picture to give another idea of how it should be.

The strings run through the open holes there, and over the slots on the saddles. See how they line up.
