I've got an old washburn with a set of p-bass pickups in it and was tinkering around the idea of replacing them with something else.
I opened up the electrical cavity and all's that is in it are a few wires soldered to the 2 pots, one volume and one tone
I did a quick search and read a few threads, but didn't find anything about installing em.
I did read the "how-to" for soldering, and I'm going to assume that that's all there is to installing a new set of pickups, maybe I'm wrong.
I was looking at the seymore duncan bassline SPB-3, I'm wanting to install passive p-ups and am going to assumer that those are passive, I havn't read anywhere saying they are active.
I was also wondering about installing a new bridge, do I have to get a specific bridge to fit my bass or can I just get a Gotoh 201 from Warmoth, slap that on and play?
Thanks alot
