#1 CodaBow Carbon Fiber French Bow
Nice dark sound, nothing wrong with this carbon fiber bow. Great condition. Incredible bow for the money. I prefer this bow for orchestral work...even when compared to my Prochownk which is 3x the price. Wonderful smooth sound. $600. The finish is solid black.
#2
Prochownik French style bow. Nice sound, great feel, very articulate and has a fairly deep camber. This bow is wonderful for all styles of playing, especially Mozart and for solo playing. I have noticed that the sound in the upper register is very open compared to other bows. These bows go for around $1600 new and are worth every penny! Very good condition except for chipped ivory tip. Was purchased last winter from Chris Brown. It was on consignment from a player in the Pittsburgh Symphony. Beautiful brownish red varnish. PM me your email address for pictures.
$1200.
PS
When I bought this bow I was comparing it to another brand new Prochownik and this one was superior in it's feel and sound. I believe it is about 135-137 grams.
