I decided to put my specs on the roscoe seection, cause I thought who else should help me than acctual users..man I'm so smart:hyper: Well here's the post again...if you have any opinions please post them...I'm getting this bass for session work..so it needs to be versatile. I mainly play funk/R&B/ hip hop/black gospel/ jazz/ and fusion with some occasional country and rock. I live in the south where Skinnard is king...damn rednecks!!:p thanks for all your help, now to the specs:

Fingerboard: A toss up between Maple and Wenge
Top: Spalted Burl Maple
Preamp: Bartolini 18v
Pickups: Bartolini

I've been face-to-face with that piece of wood, recently.

If you're not totally hung up on maple for some reason, that top is SCREAMING for a wenge fingerboard......
