Got a used Roscoe. Put on new strings and what tool do i use to adjust the neck. Looks like a screw driver will not work. What do you use? Never saw that.:confused:

I would suggest you take the bass to a professional to get a setup. Gard 08-08-2006, 10:27 AM Already answered via PM, but for everyone else: Our trussrod is adjusted with a 9/64" allen key via the "dimple" in the top by the end of the fingerboard. Occassionally, due to the handmade nature of our basses, a standard allen key will be slightly too long. When this occurs, we make a key to fit, and ship it with the bass. If you purchase a used bass that does not have this, you can easily make a "replacement" with any grinding wheel by simply shortening the "business end" of the allen key. Also, the bridge uses a 1/16" allen key, for anyone interested in that piece of information. :) |
