Great show, must have been very difficult for him to handle emotionally, but if anything that (and the fact that everybody was feeling, as Watt called it "heavy") made the music really hit home. Some highlights were a Coltrane tune I don't know that name of (what was that, Watt?), "Revolution" by the Butthole Surfers, some classic Television, and even a Beefheart tune, I think. Might be wrong on that. A few tunes off of Double Nickels on the Dime, a great "What gets Heard" (fIREHOSE), and countless others.
Talented band, Tom Watson plays great guitar, sings, and even bangs on the bongos a bit. It was my first time seeing Jerry Trebotic, who was like a manic ragdoll working the drums.
I am very glad to have seen the show and encourage you to go to this show if it comes near you...
