I used to use the theme from Barney Miller as a sound check exercise. Also count in the theme from the Muppets.

The really bad thing is....now I will be checking out all of these "bad" songs......just to hear the bass lines....:)

With the exception of the cover tunes "Everytime You go Away" and "Tear Your Playhouse Down", the bulk of Paul Young's songs were pretty bogus. However, Pino Palladino made them shine with his brilliant bass work.
