Hey there!

We need a bass player! We play nearly every weekend and occasionally thru the week. We play mainly bars for a very typically rowdy party crowd. Typically, you'll make between $800-1200/mo. We're not looking for a hired gun, but rather someone who is interested in working steadily with the same folks. We need someone who is very comfortable singing both harmonies and some leads as we all take a few songs thru the evening. Showmanship is vital.

We play mainly country. Both new as well as old country. Some rock and funk -- depending on the type of crowd. We live and play in the Phoenix metro area and are not interested in touring. Our new member will need to be up to speed, rehearsed and ready for gigging by mid September.

Thanks Pepsican. We really do need someone who can sing as well. Also... your location could make the commute a bit difficult! :eyebrow:

Do I have to live in Phoenix? I am close and I am a super seasoned player.

I said that because I'm moving to phoenix in a bit, if I had a steady gig it would make the move out even better. Good luck again

Great to hear! I hope you enjoy it here. I've grown to enjoy the heat. As to the music scene here...Overall it's ok-- just ok compared to some of the other places I've lived. The pay is mediocre and there seems to be a ton of ultra cheap throw togethers clogging up the bar circuit. There are a ton of casinos and corporates to be had for those with the flexibility and marketing focus.

Let me know if I can help you find a good home when you get here. I'll be glad to help you develop a network so you can find your spot.

Do you know when you will be moving yet?

firkinahsoul--

Not yet. Our current fella will stay with us until we find the right fit. So far, we've gotten close, but no cigar.
