OK... this has been killing me.

I know there are MANY TBers from around this area. Is anyone willing to host a GTG or even interested in participating? I would love an excuse to check out some gear and hang with some like minded folks.

How's it going? It's been a while!

It may take a little while, but I think we have the makings for an excellent little get together right here in lovely Northern California!

There been few threads about this lately, there was one that was not sticky and kind of went away (mostly people from bay area).

Anyway i am down depending on date, i am in San Jose area al though posting from Yuba city area right now.

Depending on time i should be passing Sac quite a few times in next month(s) to come.

How does this work for anybody/everybody? My family will be out of town and would lend itself very well to me hosting the event at my home.

9/16 is my birthday, so that's out for me. Where is this going to be? I'm in SF, and would find it hard to get to Central Valley.

I'm planning on hosting on 9/16 in Elk Grove (Sac). My family is actually out of town, so this will be the only time I will be able to host. If anyone can host in another location and/or another time, that would be great.

I'd love some more responses so I can know if I should plan for Sat, 9/16 or not.

I, obviously, am all for it... but I am pretty flexible, too! :-)

I'm still up for it, and will keep it open. If it doesn't work, just keep me posted, and I'll keep another weekend open.

I am officially cancelling 9/16 as a possibility.

Heh... funny coincidence that you had offered 9/16 as the GTG date... I wasn't going to be able to visit my family this weekend in Elk Grove anyway, thus ruling out a trip to Sac out for this weekend overall.

I can't host a GTG unfortunately, because all I've got is an apartment. I'd be more than happy to get in on one, though!

I could host, Im in downtown Sac-toe. I could probably only handle about 10 people though.......with equipment and all.

A few of us bassists (I know at least 2 of us are TBers) are putting on a Solo Bass Concert on March 20 in Modesto at Tymeless Cuisine on 10th St. If enough of us show up it will be an impromptu Mini GTG :hyper: :bassist:
