Today I went into Guitar Center and I saw this cool video playing. I asked someone working in the store and he said it was the Flea video and it was $20. So I bought the video and watched it and I thought it was very good. The only bad thing about the video was River Phoenix was creeping me out but thats another story... :eek:

Anyway, I thought this was a pretty cool tape and I watched it 3 times even though its an hour long. Flea plays with Chad Smith and he goes into a lot of detail about the techniques he uses and how he warms up and stuff like that. Theres even a part where they play a bass "word association" when River Phoenix says something like, "Manic woman tripping over her umbrella" and Flea makes up something on the bass that represents that phrase. This was a great investment.

Anyone else have this video or seen it before? If you don't have it, you should check it out, unless you hate Flea, which is something I can't understand anyone doing at all... :confused:

I saw it at my friends house, good video it is. I missed a lot of it cause my friend and I were laughing our a$$es off at that River Pheonix character, he mustve been stoned outa his mind when they filmed that. We were also laughing at some of those crazy Parliment like phrases Flea was saying.

But truely I really liked that video. I think even people who hate Flea might enjoy that due to some nice slapping...

...or theyd get a hell of a good laugh. :D

yeah that dude was pretty high in that video. kinda freaked me out.
