Hey guys,
I've seen ads on TB showing giveaways for a PJB Suitcase, and now for a Halfling... but the links go to the main site page and there doesn't appear to be anything on the the site about the giveaways. Are the TB ads premature, or are there actually signup pages for those giveaways?

No, the links are just wrong... We'll get that fixed and thanks for bringing it to our attention MJ!

We get this question quite often, so thanks for asking. We now have an opportunity to address it for the community!
The short answer is unfortunately, no...there is not a 100% accurate, secure and fast way for us to verify an entry.
This is a result of our policy rather than ability. We can indeed verify a registration, but the time required to do so makes it inefficient for us to do it. If we spent the time to verify every entry when we get a request, we'd have to have one person doing so for a good portion of every day.
I also made the decision to NOT verify entries for an added measure of security. Because we take the confidence of our customer's contact information very seriously, access to our registration databases are very restricted. So the staff who actually have access to the data is limited to begin with...
We are taking steps to consolidate our databases, which will at some point make it easier for us to research this information for you. However, until that time comes, it's simply too much of a security risk and time consuming process to look each inquiry up with 100% accuracy.
I hope that this helps everyone understand our position on this particular request. I know that it would be better if we could verify this for everyone, but until we have some consolidation of data, I hope that those who register will keep a record of the registrations.
This will help us continue to provide the type of gear buying experience that you have grown to expect when doing business with TPB.
We thank everyone for registering, all of our customers for their continued support, and wish everyone GOOD LUCK!
Peace!
