I did not read back to far and I am sure someone else has posted this one - - Do you play the extra hour on Daylight savings day? Do you end an hour early? If you play the extra hour, do you get paid more by the place you are playing?

This past Saturday, we rented a hall and played our own Halloween show. We ended up playing from 10 pm until 2:45 pm (Now 1:45 pm). For us, since we do not take breaks, was a total of 4 Hours and 45 minutes!!! NONE STOP PLAYING! We do not talk inbetween songs and we rarly even come to a stop between songs.

No breaks??? That is nuts.We went to the no break format about 2 years ago. Suprisingly, very few people leave. It keeps the music rolling all night long.

my old bladder won't let me go without at least a break every couple of hours but in my opinion no one begrudges a band for taking a 10 minute break every hour

3 and 4 hour sets work best with out music though.
I would like to hear somthing from anyone else in a Jam Band. Grateful Dead, Phish types of music.

in CA bars close at 2AM and since that is when the clocks go back, the bar closes anyways. Not an issue so far.........

we play the extra hour, get paid and get a $80 extra bar tab for the hassle.
