Well, I've got a Dingwall ABII now and I'm moving, so I can't justify keeping this beautiful bass.
For the money I think this 55-02 is just silly-good--the best 5-string you're going to find under $1000 IMO.
There is beautiful grain and texture in both the body and the neck. I love natural basses and find this bass very nice to look at. It's near mint with the exception of a ding/crack in the finish on the side of the bass near the input jack. Because of the natural finish and the location, this is a mark that you wouldn't notice unless you went looking for it; you can feel it, but it's not that bad. The bass overall presents as nearly new (I bought it new from a shop in the midwest) and plays and sounds great. It's barely been played, never left the house, and will make someone very happy.
$800 + shipping. Not interested in trades for basses but will consider quality mics or mic pres.
Thanks!
