I'll trade for a DJ5 in Black or White with a Rosewood board, or
a JO5 Natural w/Rosewood fretboard.

JO4 w/Aeros and a Natural finish (discontinued) that had a maple neck. I got this rosewood neck with MOP inlay blocks and white binding directly from Dan. It was an extra from a DPLE II (Dudepit Limited Edition) run. At my request, the folks at Lakland removed the white finish and affixed a US decal on the headstock.

Comes with SKB case and original mint pickguard (black is on right now).

Full disclosure:
There is a tiny gap (business card) at the neck pocket against the body, otherwise it fits perfectly. I talked to Dan about the gap and he said he wouldn't affect the tone at all; and it doesn't.

Also, there are tiny finish cracks on either side of the neck at the heel pocket. They do not go through the finish. I talked to Carl about these; no problem.

JO4 with (original )maple neck (complete) for $700.

Nad, I'd rather sell it like it is in the first pics; but I'll let you know if I decide to sell the neck separate.

I've got a few inquiries about selling the rosewood neck separate. I'd like the sell the bass with the rosewood neck, but I can only post it for a little while.

So, I'll probably give it to somewhere around the end of this week and then I'll probably let the neck go separate.

Bump for a price drop on a One-of-a-Kind!

If you're worried about the aesthetics of the gap, it can be fixed by glueing dowels in the old holes and redrilling. (It cam predrilled from Lakland so I just matched the holes.)
Or, just get a tort guard cut so it's not noticeable.

Thanks man. It's a tough one to let go. If I could sell some other stuff, I'd keep it. If I sell it with the rosewood neck I'll let you know the maple is available.

The JO4 is gone to LA with the maple neck. The Rosewood neck the blocks and binding is still available. I'm closing this thread to avoid confusion, but will open a thread just for the neck.
