I'm trying to find out the dimensions of the MFD 5-string humbucker and also what string spacing it can cover. I've a 5er with 18.5mm spacing and the pickups just aren't cutting the mustard, I'd be keen to try a pair of MFD if they fit and if I can find somewhere that sells them. Cheers.

I measure around 17mm from center- of- pole to -of- pole, and about 21mm from outer- edge to outer- edge. The dimensions are around 4 and 1/8" by 1 and 5/8". Do you have any G&L dealers in Ireland? they could order some for you, but I've never seen a store that keeps them as "stock". I would recommend trying to get some second perhaps- there is a set of them on Ebay with the pots/ preamp from an L-2500 right now, I don't know if they would ship them to Europe though!
